The most convenient airport is the Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) and the most convenient train station is the BWI Amtrak Station. Both are within a few miles of the hotel and UMBC. We are within an hour's drive from the other airports in the Washington area, Dulles (IAD) and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) and about a two hour's drive from the Philadelphia airport (PHL). Amtrak provides good train service from major cites along the US East coast to the BWI train station. Additional information is available at here.
The hotel is a short ten minute drive away from the UMBC Technology center, where the meeting will be held. No public transportation is available but we will provide a buses in the morning to bring people from the hotel to UMBC and at the end of the day to take people back to the hotel. The taxi fare between the hotel and UMBC should be about $10 and between the hotel and downtown Baltimore should be $15-20. If you have a car, there is is ample free parking at both the hotel and the UMBC Technology Center.
The UMBC Shuttle Bus provides a shuttle service between campus and downtown Baltimore and the Maryland Mass Transit Association has buses which run between campus and various places around Baltimore.
